An Israeli airstrike killed five Palestinians, including three children, in northern Gaza, according to medics and local health officials.
The strike reportedly hit near a mosque in Beit Lahiya, an area in the northern part of the enclave.
Medical and civil defence sources said the victims were targeted in the attack, but there was no immediate comment from the Israeli military regarding the incident.
The strike is the latest in a series of violent incidents undermining a fragile U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreed in October after two years of war between Israel and Hamas.
