The Cross River Government security outfit “Operation Akpakwu”, which comprises of all the forces in the state demolished four houses at 8-Miles area in Calabar owned by suspected kidnappers. The Senate of the University of Calabar have announced 5th of February, 2021 as the resumption date for continuation of the 2019/2020 academic session. The National Examinations Council (NECO) on Wednesday has released the internal Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) results with a two per cent increase of candidates who made five credits and above in all subjects. The examination was conducted between October and November 2020, amid the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.
