    Therefore, our correspondence took a tour across the city of Calabar to confirm NIMC accredited centres and to see how Registrations are been carried out and get to hear what citizens of the state have to say regarding the registration process in the state.

    Below are confirmed accredited centres in Calabar;

    1. NIGERIA IMMIGRATION OFFICE

    The Nigeria Immigration office is one accredited centre in the state which the Registration is ongoing.

    When our Correspondence visited the scene, citizens where found outside the state immigration office which some rest on the green grasses just opposite their office

    When speaking with a lady in her 20s she told CalabarOnline that they have been here since morning and she hasn’t been attended to.

    “I came here yesterday and was told to come back today now I’m here and have still not been attented they told us to wait for the woman but the offficers keep smuggling people inside because they have given them money” she said.

    2. UNICAL SMALL GATE

    When our correspondence visited this centre it was nothing different from that at immigration office as lot of people where seen struggling to get registered.
