A 200-Level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Michael Adewale Ifemosu, has been expelled by the university for allegedly posting an open letter on his Facebook page to the Vice Chancellor of the institution,  Prof Kolawole Salako. FUNAAB said Ifemosu was expelled because he posted an open letter on the internet to the Vice Chancellor, in which he was said to have raised what it called allegations and misrepresentation of fact about the university. The Lagos State Police Command have arrested a father, Ayobami Isiaka, for allegedly killing his one -year -old baby , Nana, at Ijaye , in the Isheri area of the state. The state Police Public Relations Officer , Bala Elkana , in a statement on Sunday, said when a disagreement occurred between Ayobami and his wife , the suspect forcefully took Nana from the mother and slammed her on the ground. Two persons, including a woman on Monday, 21st October, 2019 sustained injuries when an iron container fell on them along Owerri road, Upper Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra State. The Kano State Police Command says it has provided full security to ensure the protection of lives and properties around Kano Zoological Garden following the escape of a lion from its cage.
