    Former Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Efiok Cobham has appointed Obol James Eno Uket as the Director General (DG) for his campaign organisation.

    Obol James Eno Uket is a graduate of the University of Jos, Nigeria and holds a Masters degree in International Relations. He served meritoriously in the civil service of Cross River State, rising to the cadre of Director of Inspectorate, Ministry of Local Government Affairs before retirement in 2019.

    More so, Uket is a sports enthusiast and a highly respected traditional title holder in the Yakurr traditional institution, who at one time or the other has been Vice Chairman, Cross River State football association and Chairman Lebokun International on many occasions.

    Nevertheless, in recent development, the Efiok Cobham for Governor campaign organisation has changed its slogan from   “CROSS RIVER ARISE” and the media team shall henceforth be addressed as the “CROSS RIVER ARISE MEDIA.”

    This decision was reached after a crucial meeting that painstakingly examined questions that arose due to concerns bothering on brand ownership and identity.
