    “Schools Still Resume Jan 18” – Education Minister

    The Federal Ministry of Education affirmed to the earlier January 18 resumption date for schools. The Minister of Education made it known to the public through a press statement earlier released today.

    In the memo, after a stakeholder meeting have given the go ahead for all tertiary institutions to resume On The 18th Of January, 2021.

    However,  the Minister urges all parents, Vice-Chancellor, proprietors, principals to adhere strictly to Covid-19 protocols including;

    • All students, parents, teachers must wear facemask regularly

    • All institution must provide water for washing of hands at strategic points in the school environment

    • All institutions must provide alcoholic base hand sanitizer

    However, different Institution are to fix their resumption date.
