Jannik Sinner delivered a crushing performance to defeat Alexander Zverev in the 2026 Madrid Open final, winning 6-1, 6-2 in under an hour.

According to reports Calabaronline and match data, the world number one dominated from the outset, racing through the opening set while barely allowing Zverev any rhythm or scoring opportunities.

Sinner’s display was a masterclass in precision and control, as he broke serve repeatedly and finished with a commanding points advantage.

He did not face a single break point during the match and converted his chances efficiently, underlining the gap in current form between the two players.

The victory also extended his strong head-to-head dominance over Zverev, continuing a run of one-sided encounters between the pair.

With this triumph, Sinner made history by clinching a record fifth consecutive ATP Masters 1000 title, adding Madrid to his recent wins in Paris, Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo.
