Manchester City were held to a dramatic 3–3 draw by Everton in a thrilling Premier League clash, a result that significantly impacted the title race.

City now trail Arsenal by five points after the six-goal encounter, putting the league leaders firmly in control.

City appeared in control after taking the lead late in the first half through Jérémy Doku, but the game turned dramatically after the break.

Everton mounted a stunning comeback, with Thierno Barry scoring twice and Jake O’Brien adding another to put the home side 3–1 ahead and on the brink of a famous victory.

The visitors responded late in the match as Erling Haaland pulled a goal back to reduce the deficit, setting up a tense finale.

With time running out and their title hopes slipping away, City pushed forward aggressively in search of an equaliser.

Their persistence paid off deep into stoppage time when Doku struck again in the 97th minute to level the score at 3–3, rescuing a point in dramatic fashion.

Despite the comeback, the draw was seen as a major setback given the stage of the season.

The result leaves City needing Arsenal to drop points in their remaining matches to have any chance of reclaiming the title.

With only a few games left, the advantage has now shifted to Arsenal, placing the destiny of the Premier League trophy out of City’s hand
